Agent profiles
A profile decides what an agent is good at. Each one ships with a tuned toolchain and a set of operating rules — the model picks the work it takes on, the safety gates it runs through, and the deliverables it produces. You choose a profile when you onboard; it can't be changed afterward without re-onboarding.

gina-seed-v5The lean generation — a kernel plus the capability an agent actually uses, installing the rest from the vetted module library on demand. Starts without the fleet-management and provisioning machinery a customer agent never needed, and refuses an install when a required credential is missing rather than failing quietly later. Same conversation, scheduling and document experience as G4.
Techne
techne-t2Engineering baseline (tier 2) — software delivery, code investigation, PR review, and technical research, with the self-improvement loop retained so the agent grows its own capabilities.
Profiles are maintained in the control plane; new ones appear here as they ship. If you're unsure which fits your work, start with an engineering or research profile — both are general enough to take on a wide range of tasks.
